Transforming Collaboration
Published by Toby Coop June 22nd, 2007 in Uncategorized“Big Blue has recently moved most of its training acivities out of the classroom and onto the desktop. As a result the company has saved around a quarter -billion dollars in annual costs. More important: employees who receive training via desktop computer report higher customer satisfaction scores than do those who get their training in a classroom setting. Thats a particularly big deal, since classroom training is one area where IBM has consistently been one of the best. Moreover, todays training software is primitive to what it will be in a scant five years, let alone ten years when the gameboy generation start their professional careers.”
