Recently a team of amazing people including business leaders, consultants and Meditation masters conducted a series of meetings and workshops which resulted in the mental foundation stone being laid of The Leadership University and its operational arm “Unfrozenmind – The Leadership Company” whose aim is to reframe the Executive Leadership education marketplace.
Our ‘Blue Ocean’ strategy is based on the marriage of two concepts: one of economic creativity and the other of individual development. From a strategic point of view we firmly believe that Coaching, Training and Consulting are becoming increasingly commoditized products…Kevin Roberts CEO of Saatchi and Saatchi has even reported that MBA’s are becoming commoditized. There is no doubt in my mind…my opinion…that staying in the race will be painful and will end in tears. Stepping out of the race and redefining the rules of the game…called by De Bono surpetition…is our game and that is our goal.
We are quite candid in our dream of starting a revolution of the ‘business mind’…helping top executives discover their highest future potential and live their highest future purpose…helping to create ’self-designing’ organisations. To support this goal we have outlined the structure of two organisations. The first is ‘The Leadership University… this will operate as a non-commercial foundation. The second is the operational arm…the business arm…called Unfrozenmind The Leadership Company. The job of Unfrozenmind is to sell and deliver world class Leadership training.
The Leadership University In more detail… The The Leadership University will be a center of excellence catering for two groups of people. The first group will be the CONSULTANTS from Unfrozenmind who will under go a five year rigorous training and examination programme. And the second group will be individuals and organisations requiring a different level of support and training.
The Leadership University will be based around two core disciplines: The first discipline is the ’science of the mind’…this will be a five year training programme created and supported by leading meditation experts and scholars from Tibetan Buddhism (providing us with tools, techniques and know how)as well as leading authorities from western social and psychological scientific disciplines. The second discipline will be also be a five year training programme based around learning the key business and design skills of creativity, innovation and strategy: this will involve not just a theoretical understanding of ‘design’ but will also include a rigorous practical dimension supported by some of the worlds leading designers and innovators.
